Gail K.F. Au Racing Team T-Shirts

Old school mechanic style navy blue T.  Distressed graphic.  Screened with no base to give it a vintage look.  This T should age well with wear. 

The story behind it.  There’s a hot rodded out 1973 Plymouth Valiant sitting at a shop in Honolulu waiting to be put back together and sent to LA.  The builder of said hot rod was the late Gail K.F. Au, the owner of the McCulley Union 76 Service Station in Honolulu.  A legend in the local hot rod and drag racing scene.  At one point his gas station was the only place with race fuel on the island.  He drag raced a couple of tubbed 1950s Chevy trucks, hence the graphic.  As the next caretaker of his Valiant, I wanted to make something special to honor him.  Many of these old school hot rodders were veterans that served in Vietnam and Korea.  There’s not many of them left.  If you ever get a chance to sit down and talk story with an OG gearhead, give them a minute of your time, you’ll learn a lot.
